Kindred is a members-only home swapping network. You host other members while you're away and stay in their homes when you travel. Swaps don't have to be direct: you earn credits by hosting anyone and spend them anywhere in the network.
Kindred says it has more than 400,000 members in around 200 cities across North America and Europe. Every member verifies their ID, every home is reviewed, and guest-caused damage is covered up to $100,000 per stay.
Owners and renters can both join if the home is their primary residence. Second homes are allowed, but full-time investment properties aren't.

There is no membership fee and no fee to host. Nights cost credits, not money, but guests pay a cleaning fee and a service fee on each trip. An optional $600-a-year Passport removes service fees.
